Dementia Café
We asked if we would be able to attend a Dementia cafe local to us to see if we could help. Thankfully they said yes, the outcome was amazing we hit the 1939 census it was like switching on a light. The conversation opened up as if it was yesterday full of happy memories.
Keepmoat
Keepmoat contacted us some time ago to see if we could help with the social element of Keepmoat. Our support is on going with various projects.
Academy
We are extremely pleased to be working with Astrea Academy Dearne. As part of there work experience we were asked to interview pupils for a position as a Genealogist. The young people we interviewed were absolutely fantastic and the grasp of local history and how its affected their lives. Absolutely fantastic, on going project.
